School performance
You can view our school performance data at the DfE website and the Ofsted website.
This is the first year that End of Key Stage data has been published by the DfE since the pandemic and we are delighted with our results. We are also extremely proud of the Year 1 phonics check data and the Y4 multiplication check data which you can also find below.
The number of pupils achieving both expected and greater depth at the end of Key Stage Two continues to remain exceptionally high and SIG+ national performance data.
The Covid pandemic and disruption has undone many of the improvements in test results within the last five years. This year, just 59% of 10 and 11 year-olds reached the Department for Education’s expected standards in literacy, writing and maths, the lowest rate since 2017 and below the 65% recorded in 2019 before the pandemic.
The proportion of pupils reaching the expected standard in writing at key stage 1 and 2 has seen a fall which is not surprising given the level of disruption and the switch to remote learning on Google Classroom during the pandemic. Pupils currently at the end of key stage 1 started school in September 2020, meaning their Early Years and first years of school have been disrupted by Covid.
