Y6 Netball team at the London Youth Games

The team met bright and early at Chiswick Station and were on the 08.28 to Clapham Junction. A quick change and they arrived at Crystal Palace for the start of the tournament. This time they were playing against all the Borough champions and so the stakes were significantly raised. They did really well and finished 13th in London out of 33 boroughs. We are all immensely proud of them for their ability, attitude and team spirit. Even when they lost a game, they kept their spirits up and supported each other. The competition was incredibly high and very tall! 

Thanks go to the team, their coach Becky who joined them on their journey to the London Youth Games, to Gemma for all her Wednesday coaching with Becky and to Julia Porter for escorting the girls and the parents who came along to support. A real team effort.
