YEAR 5&6 CROSS COUNTRY
Last week, a team of 11 athletes travelled to Osterley Park to take part in a Hounslow borough cross country event. The children ran against 22 local schools and there were over 200 children that took part in the 1.6km run. Despite the rain, the children had an amazing time and demonstrated excellent resilience and determination as always.
As a school, we placed overall 4th in the girls division and 12th in the boys division. A special congratulations to Danqi in Year 6 who took home a silver medal for Belmont after completing the course in an astounding 8 minutes. We wish her the very best of luck as she represents Hounslow at the London Youth Games on Saturday.
