Success for Year 5 Girls Kwik Cricket!
On the 16th of May, 10 Year 5 girls from Belmont school went to Isleworth to play a cricket match against Beavers Primary School in the Borough finals.
Going out and getting to play this wonderful sport is such a privilege for us girls and has definitely inspired all of us to play more cricket. In addition, not only did we have lots of fun, but we were also given useful tips on how to improve. The cricket leaders were all very kind, motivating and were always there to support us. All the matches were really exciting and close. Both teams were cheering and trying their hardest. Always trying to get as many runs we could, the score was really close in the final match! Luckily for Belmont, we won by 5 runs, however Beavers still got medals and we were sure to congratulate them.
Overall, it was really fun and everyone got to show off their amazing talent!
