The School is committed to developing children as lifelong learners and embarked on the Visible Learning programme in September 2016. This uses international research to develop learning and teaching at all levels, maximising the use of factors which have the greatest impact on learning.
We promote the children's understanding of their own learning and the dispositions of a good learner; to build and refine independent and collaborative skills. We have a shared language for learning across the school so that children can develop their understanding of learning, identify their next steps and use feedback effectively. We encourage our families to use the same language at home when discussing learning.
